Terms and Conditions:

All Terms and Conditions will be sent to you with your booking form. Please read before signing and returning the form.


Payments are to be made directly into our bank account. Details are on the booking form which will be forwarded to you once you make a booking.


Weddings with a maximum of 100 guests are $500. To secure your booking full payment must be received within one month of making your booking.

Wedding photography:

If you are holding your wedding in the Gardens the photoshoot fee is included in your booking fee.

However, is you are holding your ceremony elsewhere and would like to use the Gardens as a backdrop to your photographs, you are welcome to book.

Bookings are limited though as the couples who are using the Gardens for their ceremony take priority. So, ring our booking officer to check availability. (Phone: 0490 069 360) The fee for wedding photography is $50.

Other Events and celebrations in the Gardens:

Costs vary. Our booking office can advise the cost for the location you choose. For example, the large undercover area costs $100 to reserve whilst lawned arears and the smaller gazebos are $50.

The reservation fee is in addition to the $5.00 per adult entry fee. There is no fee for children.

Cancellations and refunds

The booking fee will be refunded (minus a $50 administration fee) if cancelled at least 4 weeks before the function.

No refund is given if cancelled with less than 4 weeks’ notice.

If cancelled within 5 days due to the forecast for wet weather, a 50% refund is given.

If the weather conditions are inclement on the day and the wedding is moved to an alternate venue, then a full refund minus a $50 administration fee is applicable.

Refunds will be made by electronic transfer within 4 weeks of cancellation.

One postponement can be arranged if a second date is available.

IRRG are not liable for circumstances beyond our control such as weather-related issues floods, fire, acts of nature and road closures.

A full refund of monies paid will be given if we need to close the Gardens for safety reasons. No further compensation payment will be made.


Our parking is limited and parking in nearby streets is not available. We recommend that guests carpool or arrange alternative transport for weddings, functions, and events. Parking spots will be reserved for the celebrant, photographer, and wedding party.

General Terms and conditions for Gardens use

  • If your ceremony, event, or activity occurs on a Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday, the Gardens will be open to the public however the area you have chosen will be reserved for your use.
  • Set-up and pack up must occur between 10 am and 5pm. All guests and vendors must vacate the Gardens by 5pm.
  • Temporary structures such as tents, marquees, or gazebos may damage the grass and pegs hammered into the ground may cause damage to underground services and cannot be erected without prior approval.
  • Private picnic and other service providers must have relevant insurance and are required to provide copies to the Garden’s management prior to the event.
  • As the hirer, you are responsible for the conduct of any of your visitors and guests during the hire period and for any damage caused by any of your visitors or guests during the wedding, function, or activity.
  • Animals including pets are NOT permitted. This includes dogs (even if they are on a lead), horses or petting zoos. We lease the land from NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services and are required to abide by National Parks rules and regulations.
  • Ball games are NOT permitted (The balls and their human owners often break our precious plants). This includes Frisbees and other projectiles.
  • No skateboards, bikes, or scooters to be used within the Gardens.
  • Please keep off the garden beds.
  • Please remove any rubbish or leftover food and drink from the site on the day and leave the area as you found it.
  • No jumping castles or other entertainment structures
  • Use of plastic balloons, streamers, confetti is not permitted.
  • Exploding Gender Reveals are not permitted as the noise disrupts the wildlife and the confetti residue is not only challenging to remove and unsightly but also a hazard for our wildlife.
